2. Overview

Estratto is a mobile app that lets you log espresso shots, beans, and pressure curves. We take your privacy seriously. This privacy policy explains what data is collected and how it is processed.

3. Local Data Storage

All data you enter in the app (shots, beans, ratings, settings) is stored exclusively on your device. There is no transmission to our servers. We do not operate any servers that process your personal data.

4. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync in the app, your data is synchronised via your private Apple iCloud account. This data is processed by Apple according to their privacy policy. We, as the developer, have no access to your iCloud data.

5. In-App Purchases (RevenueCat)

We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage in-app purchases. The following data may be processed:

• Anonymised transaction IDs
• Purchase time and product information
• Platform and app version

RevenueCat processes this data on our behalf. More information is available in RevenueCat's privacy policy.

6. No Analytics or Tracking Services

The app and this website use no analytics, tracking, or advertising services. No cookies are set. No user tracking takes place.

6a. Optional Crash Reporting (Sentry)

If you enable "crash reports" in app settings, anonymous technical data is transmitted to Sentry, Inc., 45 Fremont Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA in the event of a crash. This includes:

• Stack traces (technical error logs)
• Navigation steps before the crash (breadcrumbs)
• Device type, OS version, and app version

No shot data, bean information, or personal information is transmitted. Processing takes place on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can revoke consent at any time by disabling the toggle in settings. Sentry's privacy policy.

7. Your Rights Under the GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:

• Art. 15 GDPR – Right of access to your stored data
• Art. 16 GDPR – Right to rectification of inaccurate data
• Art. 17 GDPR – Right to erasure of your data
• Art. 18 GDPR – Right to restriction of processing
• Art. 20 GDPR – Right to data portability
• Art. 21 GDPR – Right to object to processing

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control at all times. You can view, CSV-export, and delete your data from within the app. Uninstalling the app removes all local data.

8. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
